Gabriela Schermer, M.A., LMHC, CCTP

My journey into this work is deeply human. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how infertility and reproductive challenges can impact a person’s sense of self, relationships, and hope for the future. Navigating that world can be isolating and overwhelming, especially with the rising rates of infertility-related diagnoses and the emotional weight that often accompanies them. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing a space where people feel supported, understood, and never alone in their pain.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel seen and held exactly as you are; where you don’t have to perform or have it all together. My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, helping you make sense of the patterns, losses, and emotions that shape your experience.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I draw from EMDR, IFS, and somatic approaches to meet you where you are and support healing at your own pace. Our work might include tending to the grief that accompanies fertility struggles, strengthening relationships strained by stress, or reconnecting with your body after medical interventions. I see therapy as a process of returning to yourself and cultivating resilience, grounding, and a renewed sense of wholeness.
Together, we’ll work to create space for all parts of your story so you can move toward a life that feels more aligned, connected, and free.
